The new hardness testing machine developed in 1975 by Dr. Leed and Prosec AG (Switzerland) is the Echo Chip hardness tester. Its high measurement accuracy and reliability have been recognized worldwide, and it became compliant with the NSTM (USA) standards in 1996 and the DN (Germany) standards in 2007.
